Rich, bold and unmistakably Sumatran.
Grown at elevations of 1,100–1,600 metres in North Sumatra, this distinctive single-origin coffee is processed using Indonesia’s traditional wet-hulled method. The result is a deeply aromatic cup with layers of dark chocolate, cedar, nutmeg and sweet spice, balanced by a molasses-like sweetness.
Its low, rounded acidity and heavy, syrupy body make it particularly satisfying as espresso or moka coffee. Filter brewing reveals additional complexity and a long finish of cocoa, sweet tobacco and warm spice.
